Com relacao á nota 6 em (346-6):

"A graduate (cf. 151-1*) in Great Britain is the holder of a university degree; in the United States of America the term may be used for anyone completing his studies at the university, high school, or even primary school. In the U.S., a graduate student is one who is pursuing a second degree, the equivalent of a post-graduate student in the British system."

Tenho alguns comentários: Em primeiro lugar o "(cf. 151-1*)" refere-se a suavizamento de curvas, ou coisa parecida. Acho que podia ser eliminado. Em segundo lugar, tem uma frase complicada: afirma-se que o graduate é qualquer um, que estude, inclusive, o primário. Depois afirma-se que o "graduate student é aquele "pursuing a second degree, the equivalent of a post-graduate student in the British system". Pergunto: Nao seria melhor tirar esta nota? Ou alternativamente, simplificar com algo como:

  • 6. Um estudante universitário que ainda não se formou é denominado graduando. Na terminologia inglesa usa-se, com bastante frequencia, como equivalente, a palavra under-graduate.
